Application engineer Michael Fisher walks though the benefits and functionality of Gocator's built-in part detection tool. Part detection is useful when measurements on individual parts are needed and for robotic pick and place applications. It can separate each part moving on a conveyor into different scans, so that a custom tool chain can be applied to each part separately. Part detection is extremely customizable, giving users control over exactly what part will be detected.
