Aluminium Norf (Alunorf) GmbH is the largest aluminium rolling and remelt plant in the world, setting new standards for the processing of aluminium to sheet and plate for a wide range of applications. In this application, Gocator 2100 series sensors were installed for inline geometry and topography measurement of raw aluminium ingots (8.6 m x 2.2 m x 0.6 m).

Line confocal imaging is a powerful method for automated medical seal verification. This technology develops high resolution 3D and 2D scan data of the internal structure of the blister pack layers and pouches commonly used in medical packaging.
