Gocator® Emulator for Desktop
Gocator® Emulator for Desktop is a PC-based simulator designed for automation engineers––providing you with the ability to work offline, view recorded data, and develop new solutions without actual hardware. With Emulator for Desktop, you can leverage the performance of your PC for a more responsive user experience and work with Gocator development kits to build custom tools and complete inspection applications.
Gocator GDK - Develop A Custom Tool
If you are developing custom measurement algorithms to run inside a Gocator using the Gocator Development Kit (GDK), then the Emulator is an essential tool for testing and verifying operation before committing to actual hardware. Physical Gocator sensors can be used to record data without disrupting inline inspection performance. The recorded data can then be loaded into the Emulator for offline testing, tuning and review.
Gocator SDK - Develop An Inspection Application
The Gocator Software Development Kit (SDK) can be used to develop a custom PC application that controls Gocator over Ethernet to perform acquisition, collect measurement data, and visualize inspection results. With Emulator for Desktop, the SDK connects with the Emulator which simulates communication just like a real hardware connection in order to carry out application development and test every feature.
To download the Emulator for Desktop, select the Desktop box and click on the DOWNLOAD link below it.
This will take you to a .zip file package that contains the most recent version of the desktop Emulator.
Remember that you will need to be logged into your LMI account to access and download the zip file. Unpack the zip file to find the GoEmulator shortcut.
