Unlike contact measurement devices such as CMM's or calipers, ARIS’s solutions collect millions of data points with a single snapshot that enables 360 degree full 3D comparison, 2D comparison (crosssectional), GD&T analysis, wall thickness analysis, and scanning of small objects (< 1 cubic inch) and large objects (e.g. car chassis).
