GOCATOR® IS POWERFUL 3D SCANNING TECHNOLOGY

3D BASED ON YOUR NEEDS
Gocator® offers three different 3D scanning technologies to meet your specific application requirements—laser point profile, laser line profile, and snapshot.
Point profile scanning uses a focused laser point to scan at 32 kHz along the direction of part travel, or inspects displacement in a fast moving inline process. This scanning type is ideal for measuring object dimensions such as thickness, height and surface roughness.

Line profile scanning uses a projected laser line to perform high-resolution geometry, surface and volumetric measurements at inline production speed.

Snapshot scanning combines structured light with built-in 3D measurement tools for specific object features, and is ideal for inline inspection of parts with start/stop motion such as flexible robotic inspection and pick-and-place.

2D + 3D Capability
Gocator combines 3D with 2D technology for a more robust inspection system.
INTENSITY OUTPUT (Acquire Intensity)
In Gocator, an 8-bit intensity value is output for each range value along the laser line or for structured light. This allows you to use one sensor to perform both 2D and 3D measurements.
Gocator supports expanded built-in support to assign many buddy sensors in a flexible layout and create a single, dense 3D point cloud ready for measurement. Watch the video to see how it works!
