Webinar: Gocator to PLC Communication (Session Two)

In machine vision applications, inspecting and measuring your part is only half the battle.  You also need to communicate that information to external equipment.  In production environments, that usually means a PLC.  In this webinar, we will show how LMI Gocator 3D vision systems easily communicate with PLC’s:

– Using Ethernet/IP to communicate with Allen-Bradley PLC’s.  Gocator devices added after EDS file installation.  Implicit and explicit messaging supported.

– Using Profinet to communicate with Siemens PLC’s.  Gocator devices added after GSD file installation

A large portion of this webinar is dedicated to a live demonstration that will walk through examples of sending commands, such as trigger and job change, as well as examples of receiving data such as  measurements and inspection results.
