The Gocator® 5500 series adds patented line confocal imaging (LCI) technology to the Gocator® family of trusted laser and structured light 3D smart sensors, making them the first and only line confocal sensors that include a web-based interface with built-in measurement tools, I/O connectivity, and multi-layer profiling support accelerated using a PC.
These powerful sensors feature a dual-axis design that delivers simultaneous generation of 3D topography, 3D tomography, and 2D intensity data—allowing them to scan virtually any material type.
Gocator 5512 for brakepad surface inspection
Gocator 5504 for wafer dimensionining, sorting, and surface defect detection
Gocator 5512 for simultaneous inspection of multiple surfaces
Gocator® 5500 sensors capture 3D tomography data that enables the measurement and inspection of multi-layered materials such as bonded glass. They also simultaneously generate 3D topography for geometric dimensioning and surface and material layer defect detection, and 2D intensity data for simple object and defect detection.
Gocator® 5500 sensors feature a custom high-speed imager and high-performance electronics to deliver metrology-grade inspection at over 16 kHz with PC acceleration.
Gocator® 5500 sensors can achieve X resolutions up to 2.5 microns and Z repeatability up to 0.05 microns.Â
Gocator® 5500 series sensors are built on LMI’s leading smart sensor design architecture that includes an easy-to-use web-based interface with built-in measurement tools, I/O connectivity, and multi-layer profiling support accelerated using a PC.
