This video demonstrates how to extract a cross-section from a 3D model of a part and perform basic measurements. As part of the surface mode tool set, sectioning is a new feature in the Gocator 4.4 firmware release. It allows the ability to center and rotate a part for easy detection and allows for measurements on different profiles or sections.
