Part Edge Filtering is a new feature of Gocator 4.0 Firmware. Gocator 4.0 Firmware has a built-in capability to remove noise around the perimeter and interior of scanned surfaces or parts. Noise filtering increases the repeatability and accuracy of 3D measurements by allowing the measurement regions to be placed with precision without any noise interference.

FlexScan3D is capable of triggering a new scan automatically once the scan target is placed into a new position for scanning. The software can detect movement to the scan target, either by hand or mechanical means, and decides when to trigger a new scan. Live scanning simplifies the 3D scanning process by eliminating the need for users to move back and forth between the scanner and the computer in order to create a complete 3D model.
